An interview with Mr Morris Mr Morris was born in Pontypridd in South Wales, but he doesn't remember the exact year. He was brought up in a village called Tondu in Wales where his mother still lives. (Tondu is Welsh for Black Hill). Mr Morris has a brother who lives in a place called Anaheim which is in California. Mr Morris went to Brynmenyn Primary School and then to Ynysawdre Comprehensive School. (Brynmenyn is welsh for butter mountain, Mr Morris does not know what Ynysawdre means!) Mr Morris left Wales when he was 18. He studied Jazz at Leeds College of Music and then went to Kingston Upon Thames where he studied to become a teacher. Mr Morris has taught in Havering for over 25 years. He taught at Saint Edwards Primary School and Crownfield Junior School before he came to Ardleigh Green seventeen years ago.
